Beads and Jewels

CaroLines Bead and Jewel stamp designs can be used with many of the crafty products which are available, thus making them incredibly versatile!

The beads and jewels can be coloured with felt pens, watercolour pencils, inks or paints.

Once coloured, apply Versamark ink (using the pen) and then emboss with clear powder. Or you can use embossing pens and clear powder.

Alternatively, clear Glossy Accents can be used to make the beads and jewels glisten.

Glitter can be sprinkled over wet Glossy Accents.

Try other embossing powders...pearl, tinsel powders, metallics etc..

Some paints are slow drying and are therefore ideal for creating ‘enamelled’ effects with clear embossing powder.

The designs can be used on Acetate. Stamp with black Staz On ink and dry. Colour the jewels with Crystal Lacquer pens, Liquid Pearls, glass paints or other dimensional products. Alternatively, permanent pens and Glossy Accents can be used.

The bead and jewel designs can also be used on vellum or parchment paper. Stamp with white Brilliance ink. Dry emboss the design as follows: Place the design face down on a pad of kitchen towel or felt, use an embossing tool greased with candle wax to press down the vellum in the bead and jewel shapes. Colour if wished.

Try foils, ’Puffy Paints’, chalks and Pearl Ex powders and so on.
