
Oriental Fan Decor Plates measure approx. 18 cm x 26 cm
You will need:
Oriental Fan Décor Plate
Pale green acrylic paint or ink
Metallic green paint or similar for handle
Stamps:
Fabric Collage Die Sheet DS118C341
Stitched Flowers Die Sheet DS123C345
Brilliance inkpads: Pearlescent Olive and Galaxy Gold
Versacolour inkpad: bamboo
Versamark inkpad
Clear, white and gold embossing powders
Glue
Lace for edging
Artificial flower for handle
Sewing embellishments (eg: Dress It Up Buttons) or similar
Apply 2 coats of pale green paint or ink to the fan and leave to dry.
Paint the handle with metallic paint or ink, or a contrasting green
Ink part of the lace texture from Die Sheet (keep the outline irregular rather than ink the whole stamp) with Pearlescent Olive ink and press on to the fan. Repeat until the fan is covered. Leave to dry.
Choose a flower design, ink with Versamark ink and stamp in the middle and to the top of the fan. Emboss with white powder.
Choose another flower, ink with Versamark, and stamp either side and lower than the first flower. Emboss with white powder.
Stamp the flower centres using Pinecone and Topaz inks and emboss with clear powder.
Ink the stems and leaves with Bamboo pigment ink and stamp from the flowers to the handle as illustrated and emboss with clear powder.
Select a couple of other stitch designs and stamp with Bamboo ink on the fan. Emboss if wished.
Glue lace around the edge of the fan.
Glue the sewing embellishments to the fan and the flower to the handle.
