You will need:
Thick acetate
Stamp design: Jewelled Butterfly DE02C385L
Staz-On inkpads: Mustard, Pumpkin, Black Cherry, Forest Green, Ultramarine, Royal
Purple and Black
Staz-On cleaner / gloves
Tissues or sponges (make-up sponges work well)
Glossy Accents
Fine glitter
Black artificial flower stamens for antennae
Cocktail stick
White Liquid Pearls
1. Make sure the acetate is free of dust and apply the Staz-On inks with a tissue or sponge. Dab in bands of rainbow colours. You could use just 2 or 3 colours if you wish. Leave to dry.
2. Turn the acetate over and stamp the Jewelled Butterfly design with black Staz-On ink. Stamp horizontally or vertically over the bands of colour. Leave to dry.
3. Squeeze a ‘blob’ of Glossy Accents into the centre of one of the jewels (the oval shapes). Spread to fill the shape using a cocktail stick and sprinkle with fine glitter. Repeat for all the jewels and leave to dry.
4. Squeeze a dot of white Liquid Pearls into each of the circular ‘beads’. Colour every other bead and leave to dry before doing the others. This prevent the beads running into each other.
5. When dry, cut the butterfly out, leaving off the antennae. Attach the flower stamens to the back of the butterfly’s head using Glossy Accents as the glue.
6. Gently fold the butterfly and fix to a window or mirror with a small piece of Blutack or a repositionable Glue Dot.
