ACETATE DRAGONFLIES

Great for decorating windows, mirrors, gifts, greetings cards, brooches and more!

You will need:

Thick acetate

Stamp: Jewelled Dragonfly DE02C392L

Selection of StazOn inkpads and cleaner

Glossy Accents

Glitter

Scissors / cocktail stick

Sponges (eg: for make-up)

Piece of kitchen towel

1. Ink the Dragonfly design with a dark coloured StazOn ink (eg: Jet Black, Timber brown, Midnight Blue, Royal Purple). Leave to dry.

2. Turn the acetate over and sponge the wings with several SoazOn colours. While still wet, wipe ink away from the head and tail of the dragonfly. Leave to dry.

3. Cut the dragonfly out, removing the antenna if wished.

4.Squeeze a blob of Glossy Accents into each oval ‘jewel’ and spread to fill the shape using a cocktail stick. Sprinkle glitter over the jewels and leave to dry. Repeat on the body and tail section using the same or different glitter.

5. Squeeze a tiny blob of Glossy Accents into the ‘beads’ on the design. To prevent the beads running into each other, fill alternate beads and let them dry before filling the others.
