JEWELLED FAN CARD

The Bead and Jewel range of designs can be decorated with many products: paints, pens, pencils, embossing pens and clear embossing powder (or felt pens, a versamark pen and clear powder), Crystal Lacquer pens, glitters, dimensional relief paints etc..

You will need:

Bright green greetings card cut to13 cm x 9 cm when folded (landscape style)

Brown card and 2 shades of pale green card

Stamp design: Jewelled Fan Segments DE02C387N

Small butterfly and edger design from Beads and Jewels Die Sheet DS166C386 (optional)

Brilliance inkpad: Coffee Bean

Versamark inkpad

Gold Tinsel embossing powder

Fine glitter

Selection of Crystal Lacquer pens (or embossing pens and clear embossing powder)

Scissors / glue / silicone rubber / glue pen

1. Trim the brown card to fit just inside the greetings card.

2. Ink the Jewelled Edger design from the Die Sheet with Versamark ink and stamp across each corner of the card. Emboss with gold tinsel powder.

3. Cut around the stamped edgers as illustrated and glue the card to the greetings card.

4. Ink the small jewel butterfly with Coffee Bean ink and stamp one in each corner of the card.

5. Ink the butterfly Fan Segment with the brown ink and stamp 3 times on to one of the shades of pale green card. Stamp the butterfly segment twice on to the other green card. Stamp the fan handle also.

6. Colour the fan segments and handle using the glue pen and glitter and the selected Crystal Lacquer pens. Leave to dry.

7. Glue one segment vertically in the centre of the greetings card, leaving space for the handle.

8. Arrange and fix the other segments either side of the central piece. Use silicone rubber to angle the segments to give a 3D effect.

9. Fix the handle to the fan with silicone rubber.
