JEWELLED FLOWER ARRANGEMENT

You will need:

Grey greetings card cut to 9 cm x 14 cm

Black glitter card (optional)

White card

Scraps of coloured glitter card for punched flowers

Stamp designs from: Jewelled Flower Arranging Die Sheet DS167C387

Adirondack inkpads: Pesto, Oregano, Lettuce, Meadow and Eggplant

Graphite Black Brilliance inkpad

Clear, Pearl and Clear Sparkle embossing powders

Wet Looks embossing pens: purple, pink and black

Scissors / glue / silicone rubber

Flower punch and corner rounder (optional)

5 small gemstones

1. Trim the black glitter card to fit just inside the greetings card and glue.

2. Trim the white card to fit just inside the glitter card and round the corners using the punch.

3. Ink the solid vase design with any pale ink and stamp at the base of the white card.

4. Ink and stamp some of the jewelled leaves using a selection of green inks. Ensure the flower stems do not end outside the vase.

5. Ink one of the flower designs with purple ink. Stamps as illustrated. Leave the card to dry.

6. Colour in the leaves with the embossing pens and emboss with the clear, pearl or clear sparkle powders. Colour and emboss a bit at a time.

7. Ink the solid vase with black pigment or Crafter’s ink and stamp on to a piece of white card. Emboss with clear powder, and while the vase is still hot, sprinkle on more clear powder and heat to melt again. This gives a glassier finish. Cut the vase out.

8. Fix the vase over the pale image on the stamped arrangement using silicone rubber to raise it from the card.

9. Punch 5 flowers from scraps of glitter card and glue to the arrangement. Glue a small gemstone in the centre of each flower.
